New China Buffet in Rockledge

I worked for Brevard Hospice for over a Decade in the 80's & 90's and actually modeled clothing at fundraisers. This store is smaller than the original site that off Barton Blvd closer to US1 South but very quaint and lovely staff.

The mall is...nothing. there are no stores and looks like it's going to die. However the Chinese place is good, but now it's a new place..

Need another Winn Dixie or an Aldys here

5 stars because I work out at Building Bodies Fitness. The shopping center itself is all but shut down. The gym is shared the parking lot.

I visited this shopping center and was saddened to see the Dollar General out of business as well as the restaurant/bar at the corner of the shopping center was also out of business. However, Rockledge City is making positive growth and development in the surrounding areas.

We went to the doctor's office here. Not much to do in this shopping center, but it's clean and in a nice location.

I love the hospice thrift shop. Sweet little Treasures and They have the best prices on clothing, Books cd's and DVD's.

This place has so much potential! It used to be a hub of merchants. A very shopping center history, then it went downhill real quick! There was a supermarket, restaurant, sports bar, pharmacy, offices, nail and hair salon, and a fire department. Now there's a few offices, Family Dollar, and an amazing New China buffet restaurant. If someone were to invest in that place, they could get a lot is clients, merchants, and business! That place would make an amazing shopping center, workout gym, offices, etc! If that wasn't a great idea, a giant family rec center would be amazing-Something of a bowling alley, paintball, lazer tag, video arcade, etc. It's prime location. Nestled in a busy neighborhood and school zone! If I had the money I'd invest! 💸

Another of the neighborhood shopping centers of last century. Previously housed the local Winn-Dixie grocery, it moved out & now the closest W-D is about 4 miles as the crow flies. A tiny independent PHARMACY used to be the end anchor (CVS is now on the out parcel.) For those that remember, Granny's Donuts had the best donuts in central Brevard. Now, other than the CVS, AND THE there's a Chinese buffet that is really nice and a dollar store a few doors down. Everything else is either closed or non descript.

Now this is a rating on Village Green Shopping Center and not any of the shops in there. The person that owns this plaza has let it go to pot since Winn Dixie and T.G.&Y. left there. The place is very run down and the owner will not do anything to fix it. It has leaks all over the place throughout the plaza. Walmart Food was looking to go in there but they couldn't work out an agreement. I mean, SERIOUSLY?? My company was looking to move into there, but once again, the owner would not fix the problems within the building. I believe that the owner should sell it to someone who wants not for a write off but to make a profit. I've seen many good business' leave because they can't get the owner to fix problems. It should be condemned and torn down. Make a park out of it as most of the business have moved out of Rockledge and down to Viera.

This hospice thrift store is decorated very nicely. They appear to recieve a lot of items. Some of the items donated are unfortunately "Not for Sale" because "they love it?" for themselves. So they keep it on high shelves to collect dust and dry rot, just the opposite of the reason it was donated in the first place. Many shirts have stain spots dribbled somewhere on the front so take a youthful eye with you. This store is suppose to be a Thrift store but instead, its turned into someone's dream of a Vintage Boutique. If it's something other than clothes or wornout shoes, it's probably not for sale or its priced too high for a Thrifter.

Old

A dead shopping center with very little to recommend it. Property is in a brown field which means it needs environmental remediation which in all fairness to the owners was not their fault. A few years ago I wanted to rent 14,000 sq. feet of the old Winn-Dixie for a small IGA neighborhood market with a full service "old style" meat counter. Spoke with a very elderly guy who could or would not stay on point. Quote for lease was stupid! Also, if you lease there they charge a Common Area Maintenance charge. The center is filthy and one improvement would be a wrecking ball.
